GEOL-2001: A Geologic Odyssey

  1. Objective: The Geologic Odyssey course is required for all new M.S. and Ph.D. students in geology and planetary science. it is designed to introduce students to the professors and science carried out in the Department. Each week will be run by a different professor who will present their background, research, and conduct a "micro-class" on some aspect of this work.

  2. Lecture Times: Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am - 9:50pm in SRCC 214.

  3. Course Requirements: Attendance and completing the weekly graded excercise assigned by that week's instructor.

  4. Grading: Grading will be based on both attendance and the weekly exercises.
